The students were asked to discuss questions related to doping, including the reasons why sportsmen take drugs, the social pressures involved, the different types of drugs, their performance enhancing effects as well as the side effects. To complete this project and demonstrate a comprehension of the topic and the associated vocabulary, the students were given the task of recording a fund-raising album for an anti-doping association. The class formed “groups” and re-wrote the lyrics to existing songs, which they then recorded against the original instrumental backing tracks. The group as a whole took the photographs and created the artwork for the final product. Below, you can download and enjoy the music tracks. Don't forget to check out the artwork that was created by the pupils for the sleeve by visiting the "Photos et Vidéos" section of the Portfolio menu. 01 - Swifter, Higher, Stronger > What it does to you Download! / Téléchargez! 02 - The Gingerys > All you need is drug Download! / Téléchargez! 03 - The Sporties > Victory Download! / Téléchargez! 04 - Nameless, or How to cook pudding > Goodbye blue sky Download! / Téléchargez! 05 - The Nothings > World of drug addiction Download! / Téléchargez! 06 - G.O.S.H.
